Entering the last week...

of  'Wovember'.

How could I have let this slip by?  I mean, I knew about it weeks ago and didn't post about it.  Shame!  For shame!

I've been knitting since I was 8 (a very long time ago), and spinning for the past 3 years...and I almost missed it!

Not that I haven't been knitting -- I always have something on the needles, and usually more than one "something" -- or spinning (see this) -- but it's only today, with Brenda Dayne's most recent podcast, that I have finally had my "consciousness raised", and realize I have a great deal of reading/thinking/pondering/reflecting/enjoying to do between now and next Wednesday!  Won't you join me?

Check Your Yarn Stash...

...and then check out WWF - Get Involved -- for National Sweater Day! It's this week -- Thursday. Turn down your thermostat and put on a sweater. Enjoy the warmth. If someone made it for you, remember the love she or he knit into every stitch.

"my ideas are just the best." -- Brenda Dayne, atop the Plinth. She's right. And I am too. Chastised for being 'bossy' when I was a kid, I appreciate a Soul Sister now! I was the one who got off her duff and got things going, fer Pete's sake! It was so tiresome to want to do something and to watch others just sit back and wait for someone -- anyone -- to start it! And it was equally tiresome to realize that if I didn't do it, no one would. Sigh....

Any Sister Organizers out there?!
